MnTransfer
is an efficient web service that enables students and advisors
to access official, consistent and accurate transfer information.
In this web site you will find the following:
articulation and transfer agreements; course equivalencies
tables; transfer guidelines and procedures; the Minnesota
General Education Transfer Curriculum; a listing of transfer
specialists from MnSCU institutions, the University of Minnesota
and private colleges; access to all campus web sites; financial
aid and scholarship information and web sites; an extensive
glossary; transfer FAQ’s; Fall, Spring and Summer Courses;
and other great links to colleges and transfer sites.
MnTransfer,
DARS (Degree Audit Reporting System) and CAS (Course Applicability
System) will eventually be integrated to provide valuable
services for transfer students.
After DARS is installed on the campuses, students will
have access to transfer evaluation reports and degree audits
that list courses they need while at their current institution
or what they will need when they transfer.
With CAS, students will have access to a statewide
web-based planning system.
The three systems will work together to provide a virtually
paperless process that will help transfer students complete
their degrees in a timely manner.
Campus
participation in MnTransfer is free!
To participate campuses must forward electronically
their articulation agreements, equivalency tables and other
transfer information to mntransfer@so.mnscu.edu.
Templates are available on the web site.
Also, as campuses implement DARS, the transfer articulation
tables and academic rules will be integrated into MnTransfer.
Although
MnTransfer was initially developed by MnSCU, the University
of Minnesota and private colleges are partners in this venture.
Through the Department of Education, articulation agreements
and general information on the School to Careers and Tech
Prep programs are included in the MnTransfer web site.
