MnSCU Faculty Transfer and Collaboration Discipline/Department
Articulation Councils: Reports and Listservs

MnSCU faculty discipline/department articulation councils periodically meet to discuss transfer issues and strategies. Participants include MnSCU faculty members who are appointed through Inter Faculty Organization (IFO) and Minnesota State College Faculty (MSCF) procedures.

The purpose of the discipline/department articulation councils is to help build understanding, and trust and mutual respect among faculty that supports equitable treatment of students who transfer. The charge to each of department/discipline articulation councils is to identify transfer issues in their disciplines and to specify corresponding strategies or solutions to these issues. Listed here are summary reports and information by discipline/department.

The Program Collaboration and Transfer staff has developed a listserv for each discipline/department articulation council so meeting attendees and others may articulate their issues and resolutions. On this website you will find direct links to these listservs. The listservs are easy to use, but do require that you log-in with your email address and a password is not needed. The listservs are open and so anyone that wishes to submit comments or view the messages may log in. Here are the steps to join the listserv:
1. Click on the appropriate department/discipline listserv below.
2. Enter your email address and name (optional) in the spaces provided.
3. Click on the "subscribe" button.

Your participation in the listserv discussion is encouraged as we wish to have as much information as possible available to the department/discipline meeting articulation council facilitators and participants. We are requesting your responses to the above listed questions or any other transfer comments about transfer that you may wish to make on the listserv. Thanks for your involvement.
