Transfer Oversight Committee

The Minnesota State Colleges & Universities Transfer Oversight Committee meets a minimum of three times a year to review implementation of transfer including the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum. The committee's purpose is to review credit and student transfer issues and information and to provide recommendations for enhancement of credit and student transfer to the Senior Vice Chancellor for Student and Academic Affairs. This includes oversight of the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum originally developed and amended the faculty collaborative process and legislation. The committee's oversight assures appropriate, high-quality education for students who transfer within the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system.

Committee Responsibilities and Charge

  • Development of criteria to evaluate the functioning of the MnTC.
  • Monitoring of data on transfer students.
  • Identification and discussion of faculty issues and concerns relating to transfer and the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC). View the Committee Charge document for more detailed information.

The Committee will review and report to the Office of the Chancellor about the functioning of transfer, including the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC).
